Wow! You have ended up on my website, where I can say what I want to, and I hope I don't blow it!
You see, I have come to know Jesus is far nicer than any of us, especially me. When the (nasty) little person (who I am hoping so much to outgrow by the time I meet Jesus) gets up and starts wagging his self-righteous little finger around, Jesus is quietly shaking his head and putting bandages on the hurts of the people I automatically want to turn my nose up at.
But in my limited way I am trying to balance the (small) truth that...
a) homosexuality is not God's plan for us, with the (bigger) truth that ...
b) he allows you to make up your mind what you want to do, regardless of how I feel about it, and the (biggest) truth that...
c) he cherishes you as much as he cherishes me, and nothing, not even if you choose to live a gay lifestyle, not even if I choose to give in to my immature need to reject you 'cos you choose differently to me, will make him cherish either of us less.
It blows my mind to think of that. But I have a story to tell, and against my nature, I will try to do it humbly. I have to show the way to those who want to change, and in so doing, I don't want to rob you of your right not to. Rather, I bless you with life. Love God and prosper. He wants you to, and because of that, so do I.
